What is FACTS Online?
|

FACTS Online is an integrated online financial calculator. This tool represents a
new concept in online calculators where you can test your calculations and their
effect upon the "big picture" of your financial circumstances.
The tool aggregates budgeting, superannuation, income tax calculations into a single
location. So you, the user will not need to re-enter your details again and again
on every separate tool.

Furthermore, FACTS Online allow you to save your calculations for future use, so even
if you don’t have all the details on hand, you can login again and update or review
your financial position in the future.

This should enable you to identify any changes or opportunities required to progress
towards financial security. The application is designed to educate and prompt you
to take steps towards that end.
- How do I know the figures produced throughout the application
are correct?
The service has received a legislative review to ensure the Superannuation, Taxation and Centrelink calculations reflect current legislation.
The service has also received a regulatory review to ensure it complies with ASIC requirements for financial calculators. Both Regulatory and legislative reviews were conducted by licensed independent actuaries.
HOWEVER: the figures and reports produced by FACTS Online are not a substitute for professional financial advice.
Only the Australian Tax Office can determine your tax liability when you lodge your
income tax returns and only Centrelink can determine your eligibility for, and level
